Re: MK1 vs MK2 radius arm
At last, I found that the one you suggested is correct for my car and same part number. So I bought it.
The other http://www.ebay.it/itm/OFFSIDE-ROVER-ME ... Sw2xRYWQi5 isn't.

Re: MK1 vs MK2 radius arm
yes. but it could still be used. If I needed one I would try buying it and a nut to see if it worked. This can be a way. At the moment I am in contact with the ebay seller you suggested, and there is a possibility they are correct for me. This would be a good new. If from the picture you can tell t...

Re: MK1 vs MK2 radius arm
yes the axle is listed as being for a k-series, but the hubs from a-series cars fit k-series cars so would guess the axle was the same I know the axle is not the same. At least the end is different beacause the nut is different. On A series it is a castelleted nut with locking pin, so the axle has ...

Re: MK1 vs MK2 radius arm
rimmerbros seems to have the axle for the left side in stock (if this is the axle you mention is bent) http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-RGV10009 This one I am sure is for K series, as the most in the rimmerbros catalogue. Anyway I tried to contact the seller of those remanufactured arms you sugg...

Re: MK1 vs MK2 radius arm
its pretty hard to tell for sure what this actually fits with virtually no description, no proper part number and only one picture, but it looks like it might be the one. what do you think? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEAR-SIDE-ROVER-METRO-RADIUS-ARM-/322438782692 I understand that they are for a mk3...

Re: MK1 vs MK2 radius arm
when you say bearing seats and bearing stud is that the stub-axle you talk about? if so, then yes I see why you need a new radius arm. I have previously repaired a radius arm which was worn through the bearing and into the cast iron by filling the worn away bit with chemical metal and then filing i...

Re: MK1 vs MK2 radius arm
The bearing seats are badly worn. And one arm has also the wheel bearing stud which is bent. I know that bearings and pin are available as a kit: I already done the same job on my wife's mk3.... I could try to have them machined to a larger diameter and insert a bush to create a new bearing seat, bu...
