Accessing the old archive
Accessing the old archive
I note that the old technical archive times out when the search parameter is set to search "All posts". Will this remain so ? It just means a lot of technical help is no longer available.

Re: Accessing the old archive
I want to bring the old forum over to our new web hosting and get the search fixed at the same time - drives me nuts too.
Problem is our current host is being rather uncooperative and won't supply me with the files required for the transfer. Will have to keep nagging until they give me the data

So i have found a tool to do it but it will take a long time, I can hand it over to the Admins to use if they want to backup the old forum?

Re: Accessing the old archive
Easiest way I found was to let google do the searching. Way better than the archive search!
In the google search bar type whatever you are searching for followed by site:www.metropower.org.uk
There is also an extension you can add to Chrome to Firefox browsers that will unblock Photobucket images. Just search in the appropriate stores
