Rear brake servos
Rear brake servos
Any tips on how to get the circlips on the backs of the rear servos. No ramp, just axle stands. Tried for an hour but no joy, just frustration. Seen a tool at mini spares which at £13 delivered is a temptation.
Re: Rear brake servos
I never used any tool to put them on. I know they can be difficult but usually manage to squeeze them over, down from the top, as far as I remember I think I only use a big flat head screwdriver to lever them down, maybe some "water pump pliers" I think the name is.

Re: Rear brake servos
Bought the tool. Just had to grind the chamfer flat on the back of the new servo as this prevented the spring clip sliding on. I was doing the job on the ground and could've get anything to work. The tool was great.
