What do i need to do to get rid of my imobiliser on R100 1.I with no central locking

No experts on here then ?

is it injection or carb if it's carb I don't think it will have one

do you mean 1.1i if so that's injection so will probably have one. may I ask why you want no Imobiliser?

After 29 years of just useing a key on my Momtego est i find the imobiliser frustating& anyoing esp when the sequence if off and the alarm goes off late at night when i go to get in or when iam in side the car.

strange it keeps going off I've never had that. I just make sure I've pushed the button before I try start it

Anyway .i want to get rid so i just use the key .What control it and can i swap whatever it is with a early one mk ? that doesnt have a imobiliser .

as far as I'm aware it's linked to the ecu I've got a metro with one that doesn't work but it's a 1.8 so I dunno if that will work with the 1.1 I've known that people can get round them but unfortunately I've no idea how

I think i will need a ecu for a 1.1 from an earlyer mk but which one .
