£600 seems really reasonable for that amount of work. Might consider sending my engine over when I begin my resto, but it's currently borderline seized...

I know the company only be reading about them but they seem to be highly regarded in the mini community. I wouldn't be worried about sending my parts to them.

but the refresh service you have linked to does not seem to cure your seized engine problem, but looks more like a visual engine tarting up with a gearbox check.
