Rear subframe solid mount

Post by Pickford »

Had a nosey on the old forum but I can't seem to search it it keeps timing out on me. So far I've found that folk replace the rubber pads with steel and drill them into the rear floor. Problem is I've got my subby off and it doesn't have any rubber pads on. Never seen any pics of this so I've no idea where they are supposed to be. Can anyone give me an insight as to where they are supposed to live and How thick they are.

there is a small "bracket" pressed into the floor behind and a bit forward in relation to the rear bump stop. just behind the inner arch lip. this is where the rubber pad sites between the subframe and car.
