Fed up with the very limited choice of alloy wheels for a rover /metro. what with a stupid pcd of 95.25, apart from GTI alloys there isn't much else out there.......So can I change the Pcd on my hubs themselves to say 4x100, and have the world at my feet with actual choice?
Is it as easy as getting the old studs removed, welded up by a good engineering company, and the having them rebored to the new size, or is it more complicated than that? have thought about buying adapters but thats just like adding wheel spacers and I don't really want that, plus all the adapters that I have seen are sooo expensive...........

Yup, it is as simple as that, you would have to find wheels, that fit the shoulder of the hub, and alloy wheels that match the angle of the contact flange of the nuts, that you intend to fit.

So you need the corresponding studs fitted, to match the wheel you want, or the wheel flanges and bolt flanges machined to match the rover flange and nut flange, not to mention the thread profiles.
