While engine was out, we steam cleaned bay

I welded in top shock mounts then fitted shocks,

I fitted rear anti roll bar mounts (ive had a rear arb for 10 years and 3 house moves that i never binned)

The following saturday i painted a few spots of surface rust on front subframe black then fitted in my MGF vvc engine with a rover 216 flywheel and 200mm clutch and bolted original R65u gearbox back on, a cheap cone filter ( i will revert to airbox with panel filter) and after hours during the week between 6 pin swaps later and

Ive fitted the MGF Gear knob and steering wheel

I got given a set of Cabriolet 6 spoke alloys and bought 2 185 60 13 Yoko A539's for the rear and had a pair of 175 60 13's for the front so for 6 months have run around like that.

Shes my daily driver (along with the trafic) so progress is sometimes slow and shes also my test bed which is why at the moment looks like this

Image20170323_181946 by Simon Montagu, on Flickr

Ive swapped instruments from the Cabriolet and about to swap interior over from my M reg GTA into my 118

Im have a set of red painted bumpers that im gonna get painted white along with my door to tidy the car up then shes going back on the 13 inch team dynamics wheels as they are my favourites as the car has to look normal to upset the locals in their range rovers and BMWs etc
