tackled one side today, talk about find the right order of installation! bearings just nocked out, much easier than doing the same job on a mini, just a shame how crap the hydragas is really. think ill ditch and replace the system befor long! other side next!

you can use an a-series kit in a k-series radius arm. I have done this in the past. you have to reuse a large washer that fits in the end of the radius arm as far as I remember. it fits perfectly when you use the right combination of parts :) I have not noticed any difference in length. this is wha...

i found plenty of the a series types, spoke to a few people in the know who say ether are usable (difference in length on the thread) and discard the excess parts, ordered one full klit (with plates) and one just the pin kit with a few spacers and washers.. same price/only two on ebay at the time so...

ok, how different if atall are the rads model to model? i need a new rad, found a few new gti/1.4 mk3 and a few metro mk1 rads cheap but nothing specific to my 111... will any rad fit any car? as in, i wouldnt put a 1.1 rad on a gti if its thinner obviously, but will the gta/old type metro rad fit? ...

best info i can find is m14x1.5... seems legit as its a standard metric hydraulic fitting. so some 500 psi schrader valves (8 quid a pair) some female 1/8bsp to female m14 x 1.5 and some m14 blanking plugs is the entirety of an individualizing kit. now, finding a female fitting may be hard but using...

i would seriously consider breaking this for parts and finding a fresh shell. there are plenty of good cars about still and its not like there worth loads when restored..

hello all, anyone know off the top of there head what the thread is? i found the individualizing kits on ebay and great as they are, a machinist is not paying that price for what they are... so anyone know the thread size/type befor i pull it apart to find out?
