PoL 2017 Metropower stand info
Everything you need to know for Metropower's stand at Pride of Longbridge 2017
What is PoL?
Pride of Longbridge (PoL for short) is the first major social event in the MG Rover community each year. It is held on the weekend closest to the anniversary of the demise of MG Rover back in those dark days of April 2005.
The event draws 1000s of visitors, many of which are ex workers of Longbridge and also about 1000 cars each year; from the earliest Austins to the last MG Rovers and even recent MG TF, 3 and 6 models.
Where?
The event is held in the wonderful grounds of Cofton Park, directly over the road to the MG Rover factory on Low Hill Lane.
- Cofton Park, Birmingham B31 2BQ
- There is no convoy this year so please travel directly to the park where you can meet up at the Metropower stand
- We are stand #7 - look out for the MetroPower gazebo where you can get refreshments during the day
When?
- Saturday 15th April 2017
- 10am - 4pm
Conditions of entry
Pride of Longbridge is a FREE event, no tickets or registration required!
To all those attending PoL - please know we are pitch number 7
What this means? You MUST display a number 7 in your windscreen for entry into the site. If you do not you may be refused entry.
This also gets you onto the joint Metro owners club and MetroPower stand.
Remember: No 7 displayed on your windscreen = No access!
I've attached a downloadable image that will print out on any printer for ease.
OR you can simply write a BOLD number 7 on an A4 piece of paper... OR on your windscreen :P
