Event Report - Pride of Longbridge 2019

With the weather being kind Pride of Longbridge 2019 ran like clockwork, with a great turnout from our members and those of the Metro Owners Club alike. With both groups side by side there was an impressive array of Metros in attendance and they were certainly noticed judging by the number of visitors to the stand during the course of the day.

It was great to see some new faces and cars on the stand too, in part thanks to the wide reach of social media - keep sharing your posts and photos as it really does help raise the site's profile. Best of Metropower 2019

Judging our first official award was no mean feat with the quality of the cars on the stand. In fact we could easily have given it many times over but after much deliberation the admin team (eventually) decided on Simon Wheatcroft's stunning red GTi. Congratulations Simon!

Presenting the award was our new admin and stand sponsor Steven Gerard Morris from Fit4Sport.

Metropower stickers and merchandise

Thanks to all who bought stickers on the day, the funds raised help to keep this site running, as well as the insurance costs for future events. A new batch of Mk3 stickers are being made this week so get your orders in via the Store to reserve yours!

We need your photos!

Thanks to our other new admin Robert Millen we have a some great photos below covering most of the stand but we also want our members' shots in there too! Send us your favourite images either via email metropower.website@gmail.com or by posting to our Facebook page and we'll add them to the gallery.
