I understand that they are for a mk3... Are radius arms so specific for every series?

if so, then yes I see why you need a new radius arm.

I have previously repaired a radius arm which was worn through the bearing and into the cast iron by filling the worn away bit with chemical metal and then filing it to the correct diameter using a tool called a reamer. this holds up just fine. but if your arm is worn to much through I wouldn't have any doubts about making a tight fitting bush and fitting this into the arm for the radius arm bearing to sit in.

Actually one of my arms has two problems:
1) the needle bearing seats is worn through the cast iron: it is where I tought to install a tight fit bush.
2) the wheel hub bearing axle is bent: here I do not know how to repair it.
The other arm has only problem no.1.
I tought it was easier and safer to find a good pair of arms and have new bearings installed. But They are difficult to find, as I am learning...

I know the axle is not the same. At least the end is different beacause the nut is different. On A series it is a castelleted nut with locking pin, so the axle has a hole. On K series the nut is locked by punching and bending the edge of the nut into a keyway in the axle. So the axle has a keyway and not a hole. Maybe other measures are the same.
