Quick one how much have folk taken off there rods and trumpets? I would measure ride height and work it out but the cars in bits. I don't want it scraping but I just want to go 30/40mm lower, also I still want it to be lower at the front but not by much.

Yeah I did I am aware for 30mm it's 10 at the front 6 at the back but as I said I was just wondering what other folk have removed I was thinking about 16 at the front and about 10 at the back.

I find the most accurate way of lowering
Is to pressure the system to your target pressure, then measure the height you have. With this measurement using the ratio 1:3 front and 1:5 rear, you can work out how much you cut off to get your desired height and pressure all in one.

Cheers but that's not an option at the moment as the car is just a shell and I don't want to 're build it then have to strip the suspension down again to lower it I was just wanting a rough idea of how much to take off so I don't have to strip it twice 😁

Problem is they vary so much, depends how much nitrogen has been lost in the hydro cans (this effects height.
It’s worth while taking the time to do it once to get a good balance of equal pressure and equal height. The car just feels better balanced
