Hi,

looking for some help here please.

I am going to fit some MGF top arms on my metro but have been told that the knuckles are different on the MGF arms..is this true on all MGF arms...?

if it is the case is it as simple as popping Metro knuckles in the arms instead...or swapping the cans for MGF ones..?

Thanks, Terry

I suppose you have a k-series metro.
whether or not the steering knuckles are different I don't know, but the bottom ball joins are different and will give a bit more negative camber when fitted to a metro, and I seem to remember threads previously talking about steering geometry but whether this is in relation the the steering knuckles, the steering arms on the mgf hubs or the steering rack it self I don't know.

I believe the mgf cans are an upgrade to standard metro cans and can be fitted to a metro without fitting anything else from the mgf. I also believe the alu cone in the can is what provides the difference. remember that the rear mgf can goes in the front of the metro and visa-versa.
